I’m originally from Northeast Ohio. I moved to California during active-duty as a military officer. Following my required service, I lived in Australia for a couple years and completed a M.A. in International Relations while there. During that time I was able to read, write and travel. Additionally, I worked as a laborer in the marine construction industry building and installing marinas along the Australian east coast.

My major interests are in US Foreign Policy and how they effect domestic politics including; globalization, US ‘democracy promotion’ programs and the humanitarian-deficiencient training of foreign internal security forces. Other interests of mine include long distance running and triathlons, trekking, traveling, reading and writing.

Currently, I am an off and on resident of Cardiff-by-the-Sea, California.
